How can I choose the best curtain fabric for my home?
Choosing the right curtain fabric for your home may drastically improve the appearance and feel of the space. Here are some guidelines to help you make the proper decision:
Consider the Room's Function: Different rooms have different requirements. For example, thicker materials such as velvet or blackout curtains may be beneficial in bedrooms to block out light and maintain seclusion. In contrast, softer materials such as linen or cotton can be used in living rooms to create a more airy and welcome atmosphere.
Light and seclusion: Consider how much light you want to allow in and how much seclusion you require. Sheer materials are ideal for letting in natural light while maintaining some seclusion, whilst heavier fabrics provide more privacy and block out light.
Style and Decor: Your curtains should match the design of your space. For a trendy style, choose sleek fabrics such as silk or polyester. Cotton or linen materials are ideal for a more classic or rustic look. Patterns and colors should also match your present decor.
Durability: If your curtains will be used in a high-traffic area or where they may become soiled (such as a kitchen), consider materials that are sturdy and easy to clean. Polyester and mixes are typically more durable.
Insulation: In colder climates, thicker materials can help insulate and keep your home warm. Thermal or lined curtains can help reduce heat loss through windows.
Maintenance: Consider how easily the curtains can be cleaned. Some textiles can be machine washed; others may need to be dry cleaned. Make sure you're prepared to maintain the curtains you choose.
Budget: Finally, remember to stay within your budget. There are excellent solutions available at various price points, so you don't have to spend a fortune to discover something that looks nice and functions well in your house.
Exploring different alternatives can be enjoyable, and finding the right fabric can make a significant impact in the ambiance of your house. Top 10 Fabric Trends to Refresh Your Home Decor in 2024
As we step into 2024, the world of home decor continues to evolve, bringing fresh, innovative fabric trends that can transform any space. From sustainable materials to bold patterns, the fabrics you choose can make a significant impact on the look and feel of your home. Whether you're planning a complete renovation or simply looking to update a few elements, here are the top 10 fabric trends to refresh your home decor this year.
1. Sustainable Fabrics
Sustainability is no longer a niche interest; it's a mainstream priority. Fabrics made from organic and recycled materials are gaining immense popularity. Organic cotton, linen, hemp, and recycled polyester are leading the way. These materials not only reduce your carbon footprint but also offer durability and a natural, earthy aesthetic. Incorporating sustainable fabrics into your home decor is a step towards an eco-friendlier lifestyle.
Tip: Look for certifications like GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) or OEKO-TEX® to ensure the fabrics meet high environmental and social standards.
2. Bold Prints and Patterns
2024 is all about making a statement with your fabric choices. Bold prints and patterns, including geometric designs, florals, and abstract motifs, are in vogue. These patterns can add a dynamic and lively touch to any room, making your home feel more vibrant and personalized.
Tip: Mix and match different patterns to create a unique and eclectic look. For example, pair a bold floral cushion with a geometric patterned rug.
3. Velvet
Velvet continues to be a favorite for adding a touch of luxury and sophistication to home decor. Its rich texture and sheen make it perfect for upholstery, cushions, and curtains. Available in a wide range of colors, from deep jewel tones to soft pastels, velvet can suit various decor styles, from traditional to modern.
Tip: Use velvet cushions or throws to add a luxurious feel to your living room or bedroom without overwhelming the space.
4. Earthy Tones
Earthy tones are dominating the color palette in 2024. Fabrics in shades of terracotta, olive green, mustard yellow, and warm browns bring a sense of calm and grounding to your home. These colors work well in both minimalist and bohemian decor styles, providing versatility and timeless appeal.
Tip: Combine earthy tones with natural materials like wood and stone for a cohesive and harmonious look.
5. Textured Fabrics
Texture plays a crucial role in creating depth and interest in home decor. Fabrics with intricate weaves, embroidery, or raised patterns are gaining popularity. Textured fabrics add a tactile element to your space, making it more inviting and cozier.
Tip: Incorporate textured fabrics through cushions, throws, and rugs to add layers of interest without changing the overall color scheme of your room.

6. Metallic Accents
Metallic fabrics are making a comeback, adding a touch of glamour and modernity to home interiors. Fabrics with metallic threads or finishes can be used in small doses to create a striking impact. Think metallic cushions, throws, or even upholstered furniture for a bit of sparkle.
Tip: Balance metallic accents with matte or neutral fabrics to avoid an overly flashy look.
7. Botanical Prints
Nature-inspired designs continue to thrive, with botanical prints leading the trend. Fabrics featuring leaves, flowers, and other natural elements bring the outdoors in, creating a fresh and tranquil atmosphere. These prints are versatile and can be incorporated into various decor styles, from rustic to contemporary.
Tip: Use botanical prints on curtains or upholstery to make a bold statement, or opt for smaller items like cushions and table runners for a subtler touch.
8. Layered Fabrics
Layering different fabrics is a trend that adds depth and richness to your home decor. Combining various textures, colors, and patterns can create a visually intriguing and comfortable space. Layered fabrics are particularly effective in living rooms and bedrooms, where they can enhance the cozy and inviting feel.
Tip: Layer a mix of cushions, throws, and rugs in complementary colors and patterns to achieve a well-coordinated yet dynamic look.
9. Artisanal and Handcrafted Fabrics
There is a growing appreciation for artisanal and handcrafted fabrics that tell a story. Fabrics created using traditional techniques such as block printing, hand weaving, and embroidery add a unique and personal touch to home decor. These pieces often showcase exceptional craftsmanship and cultural heritage.
Tip: Incorporate handcrafted fabrics as focal points in your decor, such as a handwoven rug or an embroidered wall hanging.
10. Multifunctional Fabrics
With the rise of multifunctional spaces in homes, fabrics that offer versatility and durability are in high demand. Stain-resistant, easy-to-clean, and outdoor-friendly fabrics are becoming essential for busy households. These fabrics allow you to maintain a stylish home without compromising on practicality.
Tip: Use multifunctional fabrics for high-traffic areas like living rooms, dining rooms, and outdoor spaces to ensure longevity and ease of maintenance.
Conclusion
Staying on top of fabric trends can help you create a space that feels current and inviting. In 2024, the focus is on sustainability, personalization, and functionality. By embracing these trends and moving away from outdated styles, you can transform your home into a modern sanctuary that reflects your unique personality and values. Whether you choose to incorporate bold colors, invest in sustainable materials, or integrate smart home technology, the key is to create a space that feels both stylish and comfortable.
Tesmare can offer a variety of curtains and cushion covers in bold, vibrant geometric and floral patterns in their home collection, providing you with the perfect options to stay ahead of the trends and enhance your living space effortlessly. Thinking about boyfriend Matt that has a girlfriend that lives by herself and everytime she gests new forniture, she calls him like "Baby, can you come put this together for me? Thank you". I also think she would try to help and Matt would be tottally against it (not sure about this last part tho). Please write this.

matt sturniolo x reader
where Y/N loves to buy new furniture for her home, and Matt is the one she always goes to to ask to put it together <3
༻✦༺ ༻✧༺ ༻✦༺
Y/N had a knack for making her little apartment feel like home. Every few weeks, she'd spot something online; a new bookshelf, a cozy chair, or a quirky table, and decide that it was exactly what her space needed. But there was one catch: she wasn’t exactly a pro at assembling furniture. That’s where Matt came in.
The late afternoon sunlight filtered through the curtains of Y/N’s living room as she admired the large box that had just been delivered. It was a new coffee table, one she’d been eyeing for weeks. Knowing full well that she wasn’t going to tackle it on her own, she reached for her phone.
"Hey, baby." Y/N's voice was warm and playful as Matt answered on the first ring.
"Hey, dove. What’s up?" Matt replied, his tone softening at the sound of her voice.
Y/N glanced at the box.
"I got a little something for the living room. Think you could come over and help me put it together?"
Matt chuckled, already grabbing his car keys.
"Let me guess, another piece of furniture?"
"You know me too well." She grinned. "But yes, please? I promise to make us dinner afterward."
"On my way." Matt said without hesitation, already heading out the door. The thought of seeing her, even if it was to assemble something as simple as a coffee table, was more than enough to make his day.
About twenty minutes later, Matt arrived at Y/N’s apartment, greeted by her bright smile and the unmistakable excitement in her eyes. She stood in the doorway, barefoot and wearing one of his oversized hoodies; something that made Matt’s heart do a little flip every time he saw her in it.
"Thanks for coming." Y/N said, stepping aside to let him in. She watched as Matt eyed the box in the middle of the living room.
"Another project, huh?" He teased, approaching the box.
"Yeah, but I promise this is the last one for a while." Y/N laughed, knowing full well she’d probably find something new soon enough. She kneeled beside him, ready to help.
Matt quickly shook his head, gently nudging her hand away from the box.
"Uh-uh, you just sit back and relax, okay? I’ve got this."
"But I want to help!" Y/N protested, though there was no real determination in her voice. She knew he loved doing things like this for her on his own.
"No way." Matt insisted, his tone gentle but firm. He gave her a playful look, then tapped her nose lightly. "I can handle it. Just sit on the couch and look pretty while keeping me company. That’s all I need from you."
Y/N sighed, feigning disappointment, but the smile tugging at her lips betrayed her. She settled onto the couch, tucking her legs beneath her as she watched him. There was something incredibly comforting about the way Matt moved around her space, confidently taking charge of the task. His broad shoulders flexed beneath his shirt as he opened the box and started laying out the pieces.
"How do you even know what all these parts are?" Y/N asked, genuinely impressed as Matt made quick work of organizing the screws, panels, and tools.
Matt shrugged, flashing her a grin.
"Just good at following instructions, I guess. Plus, it’s kind of fun."
"Fun?" Y/N echoed with a laugh. "You’re putting together furniture, not playing a game."
"Maybe." He said, glancing over at her, his eyes full of warmth. "But it’s for you, so that makes it fun."
Her heart swelled at his words. Watching Matt carefully assemble the table, piece by piece, she couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of gratitude. It wasn’t just about the furniture; it was about the way he cared for her, the way he was always there to help without a second thought. It was the little things, like how he’d insist on doing the heavy lifting, or how he’d make sure every screw was tightened perfectly so she wouldn’t have to worry about anything.
After a while, the coffee table began to take shape. Y/N couldn’t resist getting up and kneeling beside him again, pretending to inspect his work.
"Looks good." She remarked, trying to keep her tone serious.
"Of course it does." Matt said with a chuckle. "I’m a professional."
She leaned in closer, teasingly brushing her fingers against his biceps.
"Maybe I should double-check, you know, just in case."
Matt rolled his eyes, but his smile was wide.
"If you want, but I guarantee it’s perfect."
Y/N gave him a look of mock suspicion before placing a soft kiss on his cheek.
"I trust you."
Matt’s hands paused for a moment, his eyes flickering to her with a mix of affection and pride. He reached out, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"You better."
With the table finally assembled, Matt stood up, stretching his arms above his head, his pink shirt riding up slightly, displaying his tummy to Y/N’s eyes.
"Done." He announced, stepping back to admire his work.
Y/N clapped her hands together, genuinely impressed.
"It looks amazing, baby. Thank you."
"Anything for you." Matt replied, his voice sincere. He watched as Y/N excitedly placed a few decorative items on the table, her eyes lighting up at how perfectly it fit into her living room.
"Okay, now that you’ve put that together…" Y/N began, trailing off as she looked at him with a playful smirk.
Matt raised an eyebrow, sensing where this was going.
"Oh no, what else did you order?"
Y/N laughed, wrapping her arms around his waist and leaning her head against his chest.
"Nothing… yet."
Matt shook his head, smiling down at her.
"You’re lucky I love you."
"I know." Y/N murmured, looking up at him with pure adoration. "And I’m so lucky to have you."

Midnight Visitor
Sol x Reader
Synopsis: Thanks to the takeout you ate last night, the effects of food poisoning from poor catering have finally kicked in, hitting you when you least expected it. To ensure you’re properly cared for, Sol takes the duty of watching over you.
Word count: 1.8k
Includes: Gender neutral reader, sick reader, Sol being soft, affection, trespassing, jealous Sol (+ more!)
After undergoing a series of nausea and intense dizziness, Sol insisted on walking you home despite being out in the city with him and Hyugo. It was as though all life was drained from your face, the only support you had while walking was Sol’s arms holding you upright.
Food poisoning… Should’ve never eaten from that takeout place with less than three stars in their reviews.
Grabbing the key from your bag, he unlocks the door and escorts you inside, directing you to your bedroom while you whine and hold your face in your hands. Even the slightest tilt of your head would send you spiralling sideways, a recipe for disaster as your stomach decides to conjure its own storm.
Inside the kitchen, Sol spots a paper bag. The logo of the company which made you unwell is there, presented in a large font. Retrieving his phone, he snaps a picture of the logo, alongside the contact details printed on the back. He’ll deal with that later. Currently, he has more important things to tend to. You.
Rummaging through your cupboards, he successfully finds some medication that will ease the aches in your stomach. As for your dizzy head, the best thing he can do for you is close your curtains and encourage you to get rest. Fluid intake is also vital, it’ll aid dehydration. Returning to your side with a glass of water and some pills, Sol places them on your bedside table and sits on the edge of your bed.
“Are you okay? Let me feel your head.” Sol sighs, placing his palm flat on your forehead.
“Sol…” You whine, one hand remaining on your stomach and the other clutching his free hand.
“You’re not that hot, yet. Leave your window open—”
“No! No, I can’t! You’ve seen the news…”
“You will be fine, I promise. Fresh air will make you feel a lot better.”
“I’m sorry for burdening you with this…”
“Don’t be. I’d rather it be me taking care of you than anyone else.”
“I’ll buy you a—”
“No. Sit down.”
“Ugh, Sol”
“Rest.”
“I’ll buy you a thank-you gift when I’m better…” You mumble, pouting at him as he leans against the doorframe.
“Send me a text or call me if you need me. Doesn’t matter what time it is.”
“Text… Call… Yeah.” You repeat, rubbing your eyes while burying your head into the pillow.
“Don’t forget, take your medicine.”
“I’m gonna take it… Now.” You reach over and drop the pills into your mouth, then take a small sip of the drink to wash them down.
“Goodnight. I hope you feel better soon.”
Before leaving, he waited until he heard your breathing pattern change, signifying that you were asleep. Alongside the medication, he slipped in a sleeping pill, its dosage strong enough to keep you out for the correct amount of time.
As if he would leave you alone so easily while you’re sick.
Right now, however, his main concern is dealing with the business that made his soulmate ill, after all, what good is a company in operation if its only achievement is casting a vast majority of its customers extremely unwell upon eating their cheaply sourced food?
Upon arriving back at his apartment, he stripped from his usual attire and threw on a set of his darkest clothes, a matching surgical mask to cover what remained exposed on his face. A complaint wouldn’t be enough, they clearly racked up enough of them online but did not change a singular thing about their selfish ways.
It was just after midnight when the streets were soundless and the civilians were tucked away inside of the safety of their homes. Strolling down the deserted sidewalk, Sol stops outside of a building, comparing the logo to the one saved in his photo album. A perfect match.
Subtly, Sol explored the perimeter, tracing the outline of the building before returning to the front. It’s no wonder why all of their customers become unwell, the amount of trash that remains behind the building is piled up, much taller than him.
There is no point in teaching those who do not wish to learn. An ignorant mind reflects an ignorant heart. Only the careless would profit from neglect like this.
Flicking his lighter on, he tosses it to the ground before walking away, the flicker of flames igniting in the distance as he glances back. It won’t be long before a passerby calls the fire department, but that’s no concern to him. When the authorities see the state the building was in previously, they could rule it out as the impact of an unkempt business.
His feet led him back to your apartment, the open window a much easier entrance for him as he climbed up. After all those locks you’ve bought in the past, he’s surprised you never gave up your safety protocols. Securing his footing, he creeps back into your bedroom, kneeling beside you as you rest peacefully in your slumber.
You are so beautiful. Every feature of your face was crafted with tender hands. He traces over your lips with his index finger, slowly drawing his hand back.
“Hi, Pumpkin.” He whispers, leaning in to press his lips against your cheek. “I’m going to check your temperature again.”
This time, Sol uses the back of his hand. Thankfully, he would say you are around average, partially a slight bit higher than usual.
“Good… You’re going to be okay. You might be sick tomorrow but I’ll come over to make sure you aren’t alone.”
“You like having me here, don’t you? You feel so safe, so loved.” He strokes your hair similar to how you would pet a fragile animal. As his hand ventures under the blanket, he comes in contact with something.
“You still sleep with the plushie I bought for you? You…” Sol’s smile expands, his cheeks lighting a subtle shade of pink. “You must love it. Or me. I hope it’s me.”
In your sleep, you moan, your body beginning to shift. He strokes the side of your arm, calming you down as you endure whatever dream is unfolding. After a while, your body stops with its relentless motions and goes still again.
“This is our special time together. It’s my favourite part of the day.” Sol’s lips curve up, his eyes filled with adoration as he clutches your plushie close to his chest. “I’ll make it smell like me again, don’t worry.”
“Mph…” Your lips moved, but he couldn’t decipher the sound that left them.
“Hm?” Sol pinches your cheek, a procedure to test if you’re awake or not.
You must be mumbling to yourself since you didn’t respond to his touch.
“I’m guessing you missed smelling me then. That’s cute.” When he finished rubbing the plushie against his flesh and clothing, he tucked it under your chin. “You’re cute.”
“He doesn’t deserve you, you know?” Sol mumbles, sinking onto the bed beside you, fingers toying with your hair.
“He would never do the things I have done for you.”
“I know you prefer me. It’s okay if you don’t want to admit it right now. I can wait.” He rolls onto his side, your face now in view.
“You make it hard for me to leave every single time…” His pitch was low, an almost pouty tone as he nuzzled his head against your chest. Lifting your limbs, he wraps them around himself, drawing the blanket over both of your bodies this time.
“I’ll just stay like this for a few more minutes… Then I have to go.” Sol closes his eyes, the therapeutic beats of your heart are a soothing melody to his ears.
…
Sunlight filters in through the curtains, a bitter breeze hitting your clammy skin. Compared to yesterday, you’re feeling a lot better, the only thing remaining is the dull ache in your stomach. Rubbing your eyes, you squeeze your plushie, only to hear a strange noise.
Last time you checked, this plushie shouldn’t be able to communicate. Shooting your eyes open, you find a mess of green hair sprawled out on top of you.
“Sol?” You rub your eyes again, unsure if what is in front of you is reality or a fever dream.
“Yeah…?” Sol mumbles in response, his body shifting. Then he goes still, springing up from his previous position. Shit.
“I thought you left last night.”
“After you took your medicine, you asked me to stay. You went out like a light but I made sure that you were okay.”
“Did you have this on yesterday?” You tug at his hoodie. “I’ve never seen you wear clothes like this before.”
“These are my comfy clothes, that’s why. I keep the hoodie in my backpack.”
“Oh…” That food poisoning must have hit you hard to leave you so delirious. “Thank you for staying with me.”
“…?” Sol flutters his eyelashes while your hands cup his cheeks, drawing him near. Your lips plant a peck on his forehead, a suiting reward since he went out of his way for you.
“Ah… You shouldn’t have to thank me… It’s what anyone would do.” Sol rubs the back of his neck, a flush spreading over his face.
“I feel sick. Like I’m going to throw up.”
“I’m not surprised. Let’s get you to the bathroom. Get all of that food out of your system for good.” Sol stands first, offering his hand to assist you to your feet.
“I don’t like vomiting.” You mope, refusing to move despite your stomach cramping further.
“But it has to come out. You’ll be okay, I’m right here.” He grabs your hand, squeezing it gently.
The only option is to get up if you don’t want to clean your bedsheets. Swiftly shuffling between rooms, you kneel before the toilet and allow your body to regulate itself, removing the foreign pathogens that invaded your meal. Sol rubbed your back, making the process easier. There wasn’t a lot of retching, but you still felt that familiar burn in your throat when you were finished.
“Any more?” Sol pats your upper back and you shake your head.
“I’ll cook for you this time. No more buying from trashy food places.”
“But they’re cheap…” You puff air into your cheeks, taking your toothbrush which he handed you to remove the bitter taste from your mouth.
“My meals are free. Don’t be ashamed to ask.” Sol takes a final glance at you before heading back to your kitchen, scouring the cupboards in search of something to work with.
For you, he would do anything. Make anything. Even if it’s from scratch. No matter the simplicity or complication of a request you have, he will ensure that you get what you ask for. You don’t deserve anything less. If only you were aware of the lengths he has gone and is still willing to go for you.

In Pursuit of Blood: Vampire or Cowboy?

Pairing: Vampire! Hobie Brown x fem! Reader
Word count: 1.8k

In Pursuit of Blood/vampire! Hobie Masterlist
Navigation
Buy me a ☕?
The camera enters Hobie's familiar abode. Red velvet curtains that drape along ceilings and windows greet the camera crew. There's a noticeable lack of dust and spiderwebs around the place, books properly shelved, and no evidence of blood on the now spick and span floors. There's even a fancy lavender scented candle sitting on the newly polished grand piano that's placed inside the interview room that was formerly known as the living room; or as you humorously called it when you moved in— the ‘undead room’.
Even with the mansion clean of any grime since the last time the crew visited, there's a lack of you or Hobie lingering around the vast corridors. The flame on the candle flickers, the producer expects Hobie to jump out at them any second now with his fangs out to scare them. After a beat, there's still no trace of a vampire telling them to fuck off.
There's a sigh behind the camera, the lenses zoom in and out of the opened supply closet that was left open where buckets of murky water sits. Used cloths are hanging from the shelves, jugs of soap and bleach sit half empty next to the dusty fabric. The entire place is like a ghost town where the occupants hurriedly left their dinner on the table, but this time they're cleaning supplies. The crew is left scratching their heads, not even a sound can be heard except for their footsteps against wood, and wires dragging across the floor. The camera whips around the quiet place, paintings upon paintings are the only sign of life left hanging on the walls.
The camera enters Hobie's record room where portraits and things full of sentimental value from your ancestors lie. There's no one in the room, not even a lone spider is left on the ceiling. A whispered “where the fuck are they?” Can be heard from the boom mic guy. The front doors were left unlocked for the crew to enter so that means that you and Hobie were expecting them.
The crew continued on, they passed by the front gates and the porch when they first entered so that means you weren't there doing your afternoon stretching. And with the sun still up, Hobie cannot be caught outside lest he crumples into dust. So there's only one place they need to check, Hobie's mysterious bedroom. The crew hasn't stepped foot in the room just yet, or even seen it for that matter. There was just no need for them to enter, until now. If he's missing, he could be sleeping inside his coffin, and where Hobie is, you'd be there.
Sure enough, when they climbed up the stairs and into the long hallway, the crew sees ripped packages scattered on the floor. Plastic packaging and boxes from an online shop are left like bread crumbs that lead towards the bedroom door that's left ajar.
Every person on the crew quietly makes their way to the door, an almost impossible feat considering there's seven of them lagging behind the main camera. The hallway grows dimmer, as they walk, the light left inside the room acts as a lighthouse to the stalking documentary crew. The cameraman is the first person who made it in front of the door, he kneels down silently despite the heavy camera on his shoulder. He turns the lenses inside the ajar door, peeking inside. With an adjustment of his lens, he zeroes in on your giddy face, grin wide and happy, hands occupied with what looks like a bat doll in front of you.
“So. Fucking. Cute!” You squeal, fists shaking from the adorable sight. You sit on a comfortable chair with Hobie's desk in front of you, already taking hundreds of pictures with your phone.
While you were too occupied with your dress up bat, the camera zooms in on the toy bat. Meanwhile, the other crew members peek overhead, trying not to make a peep whilst they look for Hobie inside the room. His coffin is wide open, red plush velvet lining around the strong oak resting place. The producer is sure that she saw a polaroid of you tucked inside the velvet, and an extra pink pillow with a matching blanket inside. Her thoughts are interrupted by Jared the cameraman, who's currently tugging at her sleeves. She follows where the camera points, failing to see anything except for the unmoving bat, she taps her tablet awake to see what the camera sees more clearly.
She almost gasps at the sight. The camera has fully zoomed in on the bat’s face where a dozen or so piercings lie, the same piercings a certain vampire has. The said bat/vampire has a cowboy hat on, complete with a tiny feather decorating it. Instead of Hobie's black leather vest, a brown fringed vest has replaced it. There's even a gun belt around his tiny waist that has a very miniscule gun that glints in the yellow lamp of his desk.
Bat Hobie's eyes just stare at you, slowly blinking, nose twitching but not from annoyance. The crew can see that he's staying still for you, something they've never thought was possible in their six months of filming him and you. The camera lenses zoom out, showing the vast costumes on the floor next to the desk. There's the classic vampire cloak that's laying on a red chiffon dress, (oh Jared would kill to see bat Hobie in that) a chef hat next to dozens of plastic toy shoes that they're not sure would even fit a bat’s feet. But of course they're proven wrong when you carefully lift up bat Hobie's foot to place the cutest (most accurate) cowboy boots on each of his tiny feet.
You squeal again, Hobie puffs up his chest, posing for the camera. “Hell yeah! Just like that and you're on the cover of Vogue, Hobie!” They can all tell that the cowboy outfit is his favourite from the way he poses.
There's more unopened packages next to you, but you're still not satisfied with his look. In between your fingers, you hold a gilded sheriff badge. The crew watches as Hobie rejects the badge with a screech. He bares his fangs, for a moment, the crew is afraid that he'd bite you, forgetting that he's not an actual bat but an actual vampire that could drain you of your blood within a minute. You're not phased about it, not one bit. The pout on your lips and your puppy dog eyes can be seen from the camera. Hobie shakes his tiny head, large floppy ears swaying around as he moves.
You sigh, relenting. Hobie waddles his way towards your hand, taking it in his claws gently, and then he does what the crew would never expect from the most powerful vampire they've ever known. Hobie leans into your palm, giving you a little kitten lick across the pad of your finger. And then you do the unexpected, even in the entire crew's wildest dreams they could never think of it; based on how you, a vampire hunter from a renowned vampire hunting family could interact with a vampire you were tasked to kill three years ago. You lean down to kiss his fluffy cheek, he even has his eyes closed the entire time, savouring your affection yet chaste kiss. Chuckling, you're still not satisfied, you peck him once again to his delight. Hobie makes a purring sound from the kiss, the crew is sure that they cannot air whatever they're seeing.
“Aww, okay, no badge.” You shift in your seat, talking softly at bat Hobie. Ducking down towards the boxes to take a plastic horse, Hobie now has the perfect view of the peeping camera crew.
His stare freezes them in place, they don't know if he's embarrassed by the whole ordeal they caught him in, or Hobie's trying to intimidate him with a look. Either way, the camera crew is petrified.
“Horsey?” You ask, still oblivious to the danger that lies behind Hobie's red beady eyes. “Or no horsey?” You poke his fluffy side, sweetly calling his name. “You okay? What's wrong? We can stop if you're not having fun anymore.” The crew can barely recognize how sweet you're talking to him. Especially just last week you threw a knife at his head because he watched an episode without you.
Hobie flicks his eyes away from the crew, they sigh audibly, feeling their blood rush through their veins once again. They've seen what true fear was like, and you don't envy them when you turn around towards the sound.
“You guys are early. Again.” You nonchalantly say. “We're not done yet. Do you guys mind closing the door?” The crew is still frozen behind the door, some are gasping for air, some are just flat out terrified.
A puff of black smoke appears, and Hobie in all his glory, comes into view behind the fog like a theater curtain opening for him. He's in his regular clothes, but for some reason, the cowboy costume you've put on him also grew with him. The fringe vest fits perfectly on him, the spurs on his cowboy boots shine in the yellow lamp as he sits on the desk, one leg up on the table as you continue to sit in front of him while you're taking more photos of him.
“I don't understand the logic but holy shit this is the hottest thing ever.” You gasp, the shutters of your phone camera clicking relentlessly. Hobie glances at you, face hidden behind the brim of his hat, shadows covering his face. You smile at him, eyes roaming over him, fingers tugging at the hem of his vest. “Goddamn.” You sigh.
“Later, love. I need to get rid of pests.” He says with a nudge of his boot on your leg, there's tenderness hidden underneath it. But his eyes tell the opposite, with a flick of his hat, the crew has the perfect view of his eyes. The pupils of his wine red eyes move about, shaking in anger. “Get out.”
There's a gust of wind as he quickly moves to the door, crouching down, eye to eye with the camera, he stares at the lenses until the glass cracks. With a glance towards their terrified faces, they all run away for their lives. As if Hobie would actually kill them, especially if he can just tell them to delete the footage. Worst case scenario, he can delete the memory from their minds. It will be like dragging a file towards the trash bin icon but instead of a file it's their brains. They'll just get a headache for a few days, even so, he doesn't want to do that. Maybe he can reason with them by telling them (in front of their camera) a story during his time in the 1920s. Or maybe just pay for the lenses he broke.
As the entire crew runs, the mics capture your muffled yet loud laughter behind the door when Hobie slams the door shut.

I hate working in a shop where the whole front of the building is a wall of windows when we're only open to the public for very limited hours and the rest of the time is online sales or curbside only. People see us inside through the windows and start banging on the door and get Big Mad that we won't let them in. Clearly we're there anyway, the stuff they want is there, why can't they just come in for two minutes and buy it??? Tl;dr answer: cause the owner (who hates customers tbh) said no and would absolutely fire me on the spot if I let you in, and I don't want to get fired for your $20 purchase. It's 2024, it's not the pre-pandemic world anymore, how do you not know by now to check a store's hours before driving there??
I wish so bad they'd put curtains over the glass windows so people weren't staring at us like zoo animals.

Could you do fic for David 'Deacon' Kay with wife reader where she's a ballet dancer? Maybe he brought the team to see her and he's proud of her. I don't know if it make sense. Add something you'd like though. Thanks!!!
Of course! I know next to nothing about ballet, so hopefully what I found online is accurate lol. I hope you enjoy and please feel free to let me know what you think!! Proud, obsessed with his wife (and showing her off) Deacon is the best, so thanks for the great req!🤍
Warnings: just fluff! 1.1k+ words
Picture from Pinterest
Your Biggest Fan
People always say opposites attract. Most people don’t really believe it, though; you, for one, expected to find something compatible, comfortable, or, in other words, similar. That was until you met David “Deacon” Kay. He is your polar opposite. You’re a ballerina, and he’s a cop. You’re soft pastels, and he’s dark blues and blacks. But you love each other more than anything else and are proud of each other in everything you do.
✯✯✯✯✯
Since marrying Deacon and moving into his house, he has developed a ‘dance day ritual.’ He makes your favorite light breakfast and serves it with a single red rose. After he wakes you, he kisses you in the bedroom doorway, promising to be on time to watch you.
“You’re my biggest fan,” you murmur against his lips.
He nods, pulling you tighter against him as he wishes to spend the whole day with you. When you finally manage to direct him to the porch, you have to practically force him off you, laughing as he fights to stay in your arms.
“I will see you tonight,” you argue.
“Too long,” he says with a pout.
He steps backward off the porch, waving as he closes the door, and you begin preparing for your performance. From morning stretches to rehearsals, you have a full day leading up to the dance at the end of it. Deacon never leaves your mind as you prepare, cheering you on from miles away.
✯✯✯✯✯
“Dance day!” Luca cheers as soon as he sees Deacon.
Hondo, Hicks, and Luca always know when you have a recital because Deacon is in a better mood than any other day.
“You have our tickets?” Hicks asks.
Deacon nods, and Street inquires, “Tickets for what?”
“The ballet,” Luca answers.
Street’s brow furrows, looking back and forth between the men standing before him. He can’t tell if they’re serious but doesn’t know how to ask.
“Deac’s wife is a ballerina,” Hondo explains, filling in the gaps.
“Oh!” Street exclaims. “Cool. Have an extra ticket?”
Hicks laughs, gripping Deacon’s shoulder as he says, “Deacon would buy out the entire theater just to show off his wife if he could.”
Deacon shrugs but doesn’t argue. He knows what he’d do for you.
✯✯✯✯✯
Waiting backstage, you take a few deep breaths and smooth your hands over your stomach. Peeking out of a gap in the curtain, you easily find Deacon sitting in the center of the theater. It looks like he brought his entire squad, plus Hicks, Molly, Rocker, and his wife Val. You smile when you see him and step away from the curtain as you tap your wedding ring six times for good luck.
While you were dating and then engaged, Deacon didn't make it to six dances. In his wedding vows, Deacon promised never to miss another one, and so far, he has kept that promise. Once or twice, he’s come in a few minutes late dressed in full SWAT gear but has never missed an entire dance since becoming your husband. He's your good luck.
Approaching your backpack, you pull a small ring safe from the bottom, slide your ring in, and lock it. You hug your friends as you take your place, closing your eyes and focusing on the moves.
The curtain rises, and your eyes lock on Deacon as the music begins while you lift into a relevé. When you dance in front of Deacon, simply knowing he is in the audience takes all the stress away. Everything melts away except you, Deacon, and the dance you know. It begins to feel like a private show until you pause in the fifth position as the ballerinas before you glissade across the stage. Counting the beats, you find Deacon again as you move to the side, spinning into a fouetté before performing a grand gete. As you land, you hear clapping and are reminded that your husband and friends will always be in the audience cheering you on. Even if they don’t understand ballet etiquette.
✯✯✯✯✯
The moment the curtain touches the stage, you rush from your spot, finding your bag in the staging area and exiting in search of Deacon. You compliment your friends as you hurry past, promising to see them at the next practice.
As you rise onto your tiptoes to search the crowd for your husband, Deacon finds you, pulling you into his arms and spinning you around. Wrapping your arms around his shoulders, you raise your feet and laugh against his neck. You feel cellophane pressed against your back and smile as Deacon sets you back on the floor.
“Wow, they’re beautiful! Thank you” you exclaim as Deacon hands you eleven red roses. After you dance, Deacon always completes the dozen he began at breakfast.
Turning toward his team, you thank them for coming before you are showered with more praise and flowers than you think you deserve.
“Beautiful as always,” Luca says, pulling you into a hug as he passes you a bouquet that matches your costume.
“You always know just what to get,” you reply, thanking him.
“You were amazing! I understand why Deac gets everyone tickets,” Street says, smiling.
“What are you doing here?” you exclaim, pulling him into a hug. “I thought you would be against anything that happens in a theater.”
“I can give things a try,” he argues playfully.
“Okay, okay, my turn,” Deacon interjects, pulling you into another hug.
After a few minutes of talking to his team, you and Deacon say goodbye and he leads you to his car, setting your bag in the backseat before retrieving your ring and sliding it back on your finger. He stows your flowers safely in the back before returning all his attention to you. Deacon kisses your hand before pulling you closer by your waist.
“You were amazing, as always,” Deacon whispers.
“You’re amazing,” you reply, looping your arms over his shoulders to kiss him.
As you pull back, Deacon’s eyes narrow as he asks, “What?”
You tap his shoulder, leaning against him to say, “I have a chance to dance at Lincoln Center in New York City. But… I don’t want to do it unless you can be there.”
“Tell me when and I’ll be by your side the whole way,” Deacon promises. “Stuck to your side, actually. Like a leech.”
“Gross!” you exclaim with a laugh.
“I love you, twinkle toes,” Deacon teases.
You groan, pressing your forehead against his shoulder until he whispers an apology and helps you into the passenger seat.
“Where to?” he asks.
“Anywhere with you,” you reply.
He leans across the console, kissing you quickly before his big brown eyes meet yours. “I meant: do you want to get food on the way home?”
“Nope. Just get me home so I can shower you in affection.”
“That’s my job; you’ve been dancing all day.”
“You have no idea what I do on dance days, do you?”
“Stay on my mind,” Deacon replies, sighing as he takes your hand.
“You are my biggest fan.”
“That was never in question.”

Which is better, window curtains or window blinds?
Your preferences and practical needs will dictate whether you select window curtains or window shades. Curtains come in a variety of colors, patterns, and fabrics, bringing elegance and a comfortable atmosphere to your house. They also provide good insulation, retaining heat in the winter and shielding sunlight in the summer, potentially lowering energy expenses. Blinds, on the other hand, provide a sleek, modern appearance as well as improved light control. They are easier to clean and maintain, making them perfect for kitchens and bathrooms. Blinds also save space, making them ideal for tiny rooms or windows near furniture. Finally, curtains may be preferable for decorative warmth, but blinds are the best option for a modern aesthetic and light control. Some folks even combine the two to reap the benefits of each.

Maximizing Small Spaces: Clever Tricks for Decorating Tiny Apartments
In today's rapidly urbanizing world, the rise of small apartments has become a hallmark of modern living. While these compact spaces may initially seem daunting, they offer an exciting opportunity for innovative and efficient design solutions. In this helpful guide, we aim to empower you with practical insights and creative strategies for maximizing the potential of small spaces within tiny apartments. By exploring a range of ingenious techniques, from strategic furniture placement to inventive storage solutions, we'll provide you with the tools to transform your modest living quarters into a functional and inviting sanctuary. Throughout our journey, we'll emphasize the importance of thoughtful consideration for every aspect of your space, including the often-overlooked realm of small accessories and decor items. These seemingly minor details play a crucial role in enhancing both the aesthetics and functionality of your home, allowing you to create a personalized environment that reflects your unique lifestyle and preferences. Join us as we embark on this enlightening exploration, where education meets inspiration, and together, we unlock the secrets to making the most of your tiny apartment.
Embrace Vertical Space:
Small apartments often lack horizontal square footage, but they offer ample vertical space waiting to be utilized. Vertical storage solutions, such as tall bookcases, floating shelves, and wall-mounted cabinets, can significantly increase storage capacity without taking up precious floor space. By installing shelves and cabinets above eye level, you can effectively maximize storage while keeping the room visually uncluttered. Additionally, don't forget to utilize the space under furniture, such as beds and sofas, for hidden storage bins or drawers. Embracing vertical space not only maximizes storage but also draws the eye upward, creating the illusion of a taller and more spacious room.
Opt for Multifunctional Furniture:
In a small apartment, every piece of furniture should serve multiple purposes to make the most of limited space. Invest in multifunctional furniture that can adapt to various needs throughout the day. For example, a sofa bed provides comfortable seating during the day and transforms into a sleeping area for guests at night. Similarly, a storage ottoman serves as a footrest, extra seating, and hidden storage for blankets or magazines. Look for furniture pieces with built-in storage compartments, such as coffee tables with drawers or beds with under-bed storage, to maximize functionality without sacrificing style. By choosing multifunctional furniture, you can optimize space utilization while maintaining a clutter-free environment.
Create Zones with Rugs:
In open-concept layouts or studio apartments, creating distinct zones for different activities is essential for maximizing functionality and organization. Area rugs are an excellent way to delineate separate living areas within a small space. For example, placing a rug under the sofa and coffee table defines the seating area in the living room, while a rug under the dining table distinguishes the dining area in the kitchen. When selecting rugs for small spaces, opt for sizes that fit proportionally within each zone without overwhelming the room. Additionally, consider using rugs with similar colors or patterns throughout the apartment to create visual continuity and cohesion. By strategically placing rugs, you can visually separate different areas while maintaining an open and airy feel in your small apartment.
Elevate Comfort with Plush Cushions:
In small apartments, comfort is paramount, and plush cushions play a vital role in creating cozy and inviting seating areas. Opt for high-quality cushions filled with soft materials like down, foam, or polyester fibrefill to ensure maximum comfort. Additionally, choosing the right cushion covers can enhance both the comfort and decor of your tiny apartment. Look for covers made from soft and durable fabrics like cotton, linen, or velvet that not only feel great against the skin but also add texture and visual interest to your seating arrangements. Experiment with different colors, patterns, and textures to complement your existing decor and create a cohesive look throughout your space. Whether you prefer minimalist neutrals, bold prints, or subtle textures, cushion covers allow you to customize your seating area to suit your personal style and preferences. By incorporating plush cushions and stylish covers into your tiny apartment, you can create comfortable and inviting spaces where you can relax and unwind after a long day.
Maximize Natural Light:
Natural light is a valuable asset in small apartments, as it can make the space feel larger, brighter, and more inviting. Maximize natural light by keeping window treatments minimal or opting for sheer curtains that allow sunlight to filter through. Position mirrors strategically to reflect natural light and visually expand the space. Placing mirrors opposite windows or near light sources can amplify the brightness and create a sense of depth in small rooms. Additionally, consider furniture placement to optimize natural light exposure throughout the day. Arrange furniture to avoid blocking windows or obstructing light pathways, allowing sunlight to penetrate deep into the room. By harnessing the power of natural light, you can enhance the ambiance and liveability of your small apartment while minimizing the need for artificial lighting.
Choose Light Colors :
Light colors are your best friend when it comes to decorating small apartments. Opt for a neutral color palette of whites, creams, soft greys, or pastels to visually expand the space and create a sense of airiness. Light-coloured walls, furniture, and accessories reflect more light, making the room feel larger and brighter. Consider painting accent walls or furniture pieces in a lighter shade to add visual interest without overwhelming the space. Additionally, incorporate pops of color through accessories, such as throw pillows, rugs, or artwork, to inject personality and warmth into the room. By sticking to a light color scheme, you can create a cohesive and harmonious look that maximizes the perceived size of your small apartment.
Incorporate Foldable and Stackable Items:
Foldable and stackable items are invaluable in small apartments where space is at a premium. Invest in foldable furniture, such as folding chairs, tables, or desks, that can be easily stowed away when not in use. Consider collapsible storage bins or baskets that can be folded flat for compact storage when empty. Opt for stackable storage containers or nesting bowls that can be stacked neatly to maximize vertical space in cabinets or closets. Utilize foldable drying racks or clotheslines in the laundry area to air dry clothes without taking up floor space. Incorporate foldable or stackable items into your home decor, such as folding screens, room dividers, or stackable stools, to add versatility and functionality to your small apartment. By embracing foldable and stackable items, you can optimize space utilization and maintain a clutter-free environment in your small living quarters.
Space Illusion:
Strategically placed curtains can create the illusion of additional space in a small apartment. Opt for floor-to-ceiling curtains or curtains that extend beyond the width of the window to visually elongate the walls and make the room feel larger. Choose light-colored curtains to reflect more natural light and brighten up the space, further enhancing the sense of openness and airiness. Alternatively, choose blackout curtains for bedrooms or areas where you require more privacy and darkness.
In a small apartment, every detail counts, and carefully selected accessories can make a big impact in enhancing the overall look and feel of the space. While space-saving solutions are essential, it's equally important to incorporate small accessories that add a touch of luxury and sophistication, giving your home a royal feel. Here are some small accessories that not only look great but also elevate the ambiance of your small apartment:
A) Wall Mounted Planters: Bring nature indoors with wall-mounted planters that add a refreshing burst of greenery to your living space. Choose elegant planters in metallic finishes or sleek designs to add a touch of sophistication to your walls.
b) Luxurious Cushions: Elevate your seating areas with luxurious cushions featuring rich fabrics like velvet, silk, or faux fur. Opt for cushion covers in jewel tones or metallic hues to add opulence and glamour to your sofa or bed.
c) Statement Wall Art: Make a bold statement with eye-catching wall art that serves as a focal point in your small apartment. Choose oversized paintings, ornate frames, or intricate tapestries that exude elegance and sophistication.
d) Plush Throw Blankets: Create a cozy and inviting atmosphere with plush throw blankets draped over sofas, chairs, or beds. Select blankets in sumptuous fabrics like cashmere or mohair and opt for sophisticated patterns or intricate weaves for a regal touch.
e) Exquisite Mirrors: Add depth and glamour to your space with exquisite mirrors featuring ornate frames or intricate detailing. Strategically placed mirrors not only reflect light and create the illusion of space but also add a touch of luxury and refinement to your decor.
By incorporating these small accessories into your small apartment, you can create a space that exudes luxury, sophistication, and a royal feel, making every corner feel like a palace retreat.
In the realm of small-space living, selecting accessories that are both stylish and easy to maintain is paramount. These accessories not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of your space but also ensure that upkeep remains manageable, even in the most compact of environments. When furnishing a small apartment, it's essential to prioritize items that offer both form and function, allowing you to create a welcoming and well-curated home without the added stress of high maintenance. From machine-washable throw pillows to wipeable wall decor, there are plenty of options available to help you strike the perfect balance between style and practicality. By opting for accessories that require minimal care and upkeep, you can enjoy a fresh and inviting living space without sacrificing on aesthetics or functionality.
Here are some suggestions for accessories that are both stylish and easy to care for:
a) Machine-Washable Throw Pillows: Choose to throw pillows with removable covers that can be easily machine-washed when needed. Look for fabrics like cotton or polyester that are durable and can withstand frequent washing.
b) Wipeable Wall Decor: Select wall decor items, such as metal art or framed prints, that can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid delicate materials that require special cleaning methods.
c) Low-Maintenance Indoor Plants: Incorporate low-maintenance indoor plants like succulents or air plants that require minimal watering and attention. These plants add a touch of greenery to your space without demanding a lot of care.
d) Easy-Clean Rugs: Opt for rugs made from materials that are easy to clean, such as synthetic fibers or outdoor rugs that can be hosed down and air-dried. Avoid rugs with intricate patterns or textures that can trap dirt and debris.
e)Multi-Functional Storage Baskets: Use storage baskets made from durable materials like woven seagrass or plastic that can be easily wiped clean. These baskets not only help you stay organized but also add texture and style to your space.
f) Scented Diffusers: Instead of traditional candles that require regular maintenance, consider using scented diffusers to add fragrance to your home. Simply refill the diffuser with fragrance oil as needed for a long-lasting and hassle-free scent.
g) Durable Curtains: Choose curtains made from easy-care fabrics like polyester or cotton blends that can be machine-washed or spot-cleaned. Avoid delicate fabrics like silk that require special care.

date headcanons for reader and ken at an amusement park?? (it’s ken’s first time there)
Ken's Memorable Amusement Park Date With You
꒰ ⊹ ˚ Summary — it’s your day off so you decide to take Ken on a date going somewhere he hasn’t been before. An Amusement Park!
contains of — Ken being extremely excited, you guys having a date, exploring different rides together, etc
Pairing — Ryan!Goslings Ken x Reader
Note — I really love this idea and I hope you enjoy it!! Im sorry if it’s too long!!! I try to make theses head-canons/fanfics really good and feed into your ideas so I hope you still love them!’
Sorry for any misspellings
It’s Saturday morning and you wake up with the sun beaming in your eye, you instantly close your eyes at the sudden brightness, you cuss Ken out in your head because he forget to close the curtains because you guys went to bed, but you shook it off and went to the bathroom,
You brush your teeth, brush your hair, wash your face and do your skincare. You walk out and shut the door loudly accidentally forgetting Ken is still sleeping, luckily he was still asleep, you put your hair up in a bun and take your phone with you while you go to the kitchen, you freeze for a moment looking at the kitchen
“ I’m too lazy to cook why do I even bother “
You make your way to the living room couch and open up your phone deciding to scroll on instagram, you saw one of your mutals upload a picture of a flashbacks of last year going to the amusement park and that just lit up a bulb in your head. Taking.Ken.To.The.Amusement.Park.🤯.
You’ve never actually thought if he has went before but you doubt it because he has talked about not being able to do much outside of doing beach stuff in Barbie land so you thought this would be the perfect opportunity to take him for his first time!! You buy the tickets online on the amusement parks website and decide to wake up Ken
Hours have passed by and it’s 2:00 pm, you and Ken went out for breakfast then stayed in and watched comedy movies together, it was fun and all but you were just too excited about the amusement park you guys were going too, but it’s finally time to tell Ken about it!!
“ hey Ken!! So I planned something for us, I figured since we aren’t doing anything today I thought I would plan a date for the both of us! “
Ken is off the roof bursted with joy and excitement, he was really excited for a date even at the thought of it, he was like a five year old getting to go get candy, he was throwing questions back to back to you about it, You simply has to tell him it was a surprise
You guys arrive at the park and Ken's excitement bubbled within him like a shaken soda can while you two were walking up to the gateway of the park, Ken marveled at the towering roller coasters and the swirling carousel horses, eagerly joining the endless stream of joyous visitors.
Ken is an emotional guy and at the sight of this really wanted to make him cry, he never saw this side of humans before, he observed all the smiles, laughter, food, and just the bright vibrant atmosphere of everything, he never wanted to leave and he hasn’t even seen the best part!
The first stop was the Ferris wheel, a magnificent yet romantic ride that soared into the sky, you noticed kens nervousness about getting on something so high up so you squeeze Ken's hand, assuring him that everything would be alright. As the gondola ascended, his anticipation turned into awe, the stunning view stretching out before you guys like an immense tapestry of colors and laughter.
With each attraction you two encountered, Ken's confidence grew, He bravely got off his fears, trying the heart-pounding roller coasters, the dizzying spinning teacups, and even the swings that challenged the limits of gravity he was loving it all, and seeing you happy about it and seeing your smile just brighten his mood even more.
Here is probably his favorite, the trippy funhouse, a labyrinth of distortion and merriment, Ken's reflection in the carnival mirrors made him laugh at the exaggerated versions of himself, his tall figure becoming short and stout, then elongated like a stretched figurine,It was here that Ken's adventurous spirit found its match, unveiling the childlike whimsy that lay dormant within him for so long.
As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow upon the park, Ken spotted an enormous ice cream stand, seeing the bright and so many flavors of ice cream it just was calling his name and begged you if you guys can get one and of course you guys did.
Ken savored the sight of happy families, happy couples, laughter echoing like music and the occasional burst of fireworks illuminating the sky and admiring the cheerful symphony of amusement park delights, Ken couldn't help but feel grateful for his companion, you. who made this extraordinary adventure possible.
After it started hitting night time, it was time you guys left, Ken carried memories etched in his heart, forever treasuring the laughter, courage, and bond you guys had shared. He realized that an amusement park was so much more than just exhilarating rides and sugary treats – it was a realm where dreams, both big and small, came alive and can change people in many ways
That night, you and ken cuddle warmly on the couch, just relooking back at your guys favorite moments from today, kens amusement park adventure had opened his eyes to the wonders of the world, reminding him that sometimes, stepping outside one's comfort zone could lead to the most extraordinary and fulfilling experiences
And so, with a heart full of gratitude and a desire to embrace every opportunity, Ken vowed to welcome each new adventure with an open mind and a smile on his face, forever grateful for his partner, You. ❤️
RAHHHH!! I hoped you guys enjoyed this and it satisfied you, give me more ideas and prompts to write about Ken! I might take long with requests because I want to make them long and good reading quality for your guys so that’s why I might take 3 days to a week<3 I love you and remember mental health comes first 🫶

The Usual Chapter 1
K.D.A
(warnings: guns, oblivious Artem, strip club, death, quite long)
"Yn". You turn around to see Artem standing behind you with a nonchalant expression on his face. "Yes Mr. Wing?" You turn around and smile at him. He straightens his tie before speaking "I am your boss, therefore, i have the right to ask you to accompany me on the case i am working on", you chuckle at his seriousness, he acted like he didn't know how to talk to girls. "Relax Mr. Wing, you don't need to be formal with me, and of course, i would do anything for you", he smiles and starts to walk, "follow me".
He leads you to his office and opens the door for you. He gets some files from his desk drawer. "This case is the case of Mrs Eva, a stripper who worked in the Stellis Night Club". It was unusual for Artem to take such a case, but he's been acting weird lately. He stops for a moment before continuing "You have to pose as a... Stripper in order to gather as much information as possible, but don't worry I will be there as your 'Sugar Daddy'". "I see, so i better get shopping for a stripper outfit?" You hoped this was your chance to see how rich Artem really was. "No need i already bought you one", he said with a straight face. "You know my size?" "It's slim fit" "Where did you get it?" "I got it online". He was quick to answer all my questions as if it wasn't weird that he bought a stripper outfit. "Did you buy it under your work account?". He stiffens remembering he did and it that sends a notification to the platform of what he bought and his name under it. "Let's not worry about that, we leave tomorrow".
At the Stellis Club, you've already gotten a job at the club and you wondered, how is Artem able to set all this up!? Anyway it's your turn to show off your curves. You emerge from the curtains with your red heels and very revealing 'outfit'. You place both hands on the pole in front of you while you look for Artem in the crowd. You spot him sitting on a sofa, legs sprawled, tie undone and his top two buttons were too. You walk around the pole whilst keeping eye contact with Artem, you stop and lift yourself onto the pole and dance on it. He watches you intently, watching your hips move while you dance on the pole.
He really looks like he's enjoying this role. He gets up and walks to you with hungry eyes. This is a really good act he's putting on, if it even is an act. He holds his hand out when he gets close enough to the stage. "Why do i have to come with you?" You say sassily really thinking you ate as the crowd ooo'd. He just stared into your soul, warning you that there would be consequences. "Sorry" you say shyly as you take his hand.
"May we have a room?" Artem's expression remains stoic. "Yes please" you say in addition to Artem's comment with a pouty look on your face. "Right this way sir and ma'am," The manager of the rooms says. "We only have one room available and that is the boss' room, but i trust a fine woman like you" He smiles and you smile back. Artem thanks him, his expression still the same. "That was easy" "Thanks to your good looks" "What?" "What?". Artem walks over to a drawer and bends down infront of it to check it's contents. "Found it" he says waving a file at you. "Artem there are cameras here", "I know, they are broken". You wonder how Artem is so good at his job. He comes up to you and backs you up into the drawer behind you. You hold his face with both hands. He pulls something from behind you and it was a document. Wait. So he... Artem hands the documents to you. "That's all we need, we should go now" "right" you follow Artem despite your embarrassment.
Artem walks over to the window then turns to you. "This is the only safe way out, use my palms as leverage" Artem holds his hands out waiting for you to use them to escape. You walk over to him and step on his palms as you struggle to get out of the window. Suddenly the door bursts open and there stands the manager of the strip club with a gun in hand. "i knew you were up to something" He doesn't hesitate to fire shots but Artem was too quick for him, he takes out a mini gun which makes you giggle. He shoots his opponent straight in the head, he turns back to you and scoffs at your laughter. You and Artem hear footsteps charging towards you "Change of plans, grab onto me". You wrap your arms around his neck tightly and he jumps out of the window. You and Artem drop behind a car, he winces with pain. "Are you alright?" You quickly search Artem for the injury. "Your arm it's.." "I'm fine" he tries to sit up but you push him back down. "give me your gun" he stares at you intensely. "Now" he reaches for his mini gun and hands it to you. You peek out from behind the car and hold Artem's gun out, taking the bodyguards out one by one. Artem was amazed but you had no time to talk as you rush him to a hospital.
